February is here! Let the month of love, cabin fever, and hoping for a snowy day, begin! The Nashville Golf Show is back, as are other local favorites such as the Franklin Farmer’s Market and The Antiques & Garden Show of Nashville. New events are also popping up so make sure to mark your calendars and prepare yourself for a whole lot of fun!


February 1-3: The Antiques & Garden Show of Nashville
Music City Center | Nashville

The Antiques & Garden Show of Nashville will feature more than 150 curated dealers in antiques, fine art, and horticulture from all over the world. With the purchase of a ticket, you will have three full days to explore, discover, shop and stroll through four lovely gardens – all in the elegant comfort of Nashville’s award-winning Music City Center!


February 2: Franklin Farmers Market
The Factory | Franklin

Enjoy homegrown goodness at the Farmer’s Market at the Factory! Nearly 100 vendors with fresh produce, cheeses, herbs, flowers, and crafters will be in attendance. And because it’s all from local farms, the variety of goods increases and changes each week through the seasons.


February 7: Way Late Play Date: Dystopian Worlds
Adventure Science Center | Nashville

Where will you be when the world ends? Whether you’re fighting off hordes of zombies, living in a totalitarian state, or coping with the fallout of nuclear war, life after the apocalypse can be tough. Don’t take a chance on your survival! Let the Adventure Science Center teach you the skills you need to stay alive no matter what scenario strikes.


February 8: Ladies Night Galentine

Get ready to sip & shop for a good cause! Treat yourself to an evening of fine wine, food, raffles, and shopping. Vendors will feature jewelry, clothing, body products, home decor, natural remedies and much more. Enjoy an evening of shopping all while helping to support the fight to end human trafficking to make the community a safer place!


February 8-10: The Wizard of Oz
TPAC – Andrew Jackson Hall | Nashville

Experience this spectacular celebration of the iconic 1939 MGM film, The Wizard of Oz! The entire family will be captivated as they travel down the Yellow Brick Road and beyond with Dorothy, Toto, and their friends in this lavish production, featuring breathtaking special effects, dazzling choreography, and classic songs. Don’t miss the chance to travel over the rainbow and experience this national treasure on stage!


February 9: Hillsboro Village Chinese New Year Celebration
Vanderbilt University Corner Park | Nashville

The Chinese Arts Alliance of Nashville and it’s partners are teaming up to celebrate the Chinese New Year. There will be professional jugglers, Chinese dance, music, Chinese Yo-Yo, Chinese naming, arts & crafts for children, bamboo dance, martial arts, and Chinese language students’ presentations. In addition, there will also be a traditional Chinese lion dance and dragon dance!


February 11: Gallatin Greenway Walk
Gallatin City Hall | Gallatin

Enjoy a pleasant 3.8-mile walk with members of the Sumner Trails Chapter of Tennessee Trails! Sumner Trails Chapter of Tennessee Trails will lead the walk on the Town Creek paved greenway. Don’t forget your walking shoes and dress for the weather!


February 15-17: Nashville Golf Show
The Fairgrounds | Nashville

Channel your inner Tiger Woods and enjoy some friendly competition at the Nashville Golf Show! Guests will have the chance to participate in putting and chipping challenges, as well as the opportunity to hear expert guided seminars on everything golf related. Junior golfers won’t be left out! Children can hone their skills in the kid’s zone with trainers.


February 16-17: Whispers from the Past
Rippavilla Plantation | Spring Hill

Be a part of this overnight paranormal investigation of the Rippavilla Plantation! Hosted by Southern Innovative Paranormal, guests will join the Paranormal Investigative Team and conduct research at this location. Ticket price includes the investigation of several sites throughout the property, as well as finger foods, snacks, and drinks. Don’t forget to bring your own flashlight!


February 23: Chinese Brush Painting & Calligraphy Workshop
Center for the Arts | Murfreesboro

Enjoy this free event! This classical workshop will be led by professor Dr. Guanping Zheng, Director of the Confucius Institute at MTSU. During his third brush painting workshop at the Center for the Arts, Dr. Zheng will lead the group in basic calligraphy and brush painting techniques that utilize proper Chinese ink, paper, and paints.
